Alternative Energy

The FUND RA is one of the many United Nations registered funds tasked with finding and funding Alternative Energy programs and projects. The projects being sought out however, are not the traditional solar and wind farms but truly innovative and insightful means of power generation. Solar and Wind Projects and Programs are certainly welcome, but they should be distinctly innovative and provide substantially more than what is currently available on the open markets. What remains of paramount importance, is the ability to reduce the levels of harmful impact created by the generation of electrical power.

Innovation is such that virtually anything is possible with the proper funding. What is being sought are Alternative Energy projects and programs that push the limit and offer something that is not currently available on the open market. That is not to say there will not be exceptions as there will. If someone has an existing technology but can put it together in such a way that it can provide power in out-of-the-way locations, isolated areas or other environments where there is a definitive needs, of course those programs will be given due consideration. What is also essential is to minimize any negative impact to the environment. While a great many existing programs do offer alternatives that do not rely on oil, they are not necessarily environmentally friendly.

There have been great strides made with electromagnetic-powered generators though the materials remain expensive at this point in time. Algae also shows great potential as does hemp in locations where it is legal to grow it. Innovative technologies like these will take preference and even more so if there is some type of working sample to prove that the concept itself works, even if the device(s) are not yet perfected. All projects and programs will be passed along to a group of experts in their respective fields and evaluated based on standards as have been set forth and established by FUND RA for the purposes of determining the viability of the project, its potential for success in the selected areas and potential for growth as well as other considerations.

Projects and programs that are selected for funding will be eligible for many different types of funding to include Non-Recourse loans, Joint Ventures, Grant-funding and other possible funding solutions for humanitarian projects. After a project has been selected by the FUND RA, the Project Owner will be contacted and a meeting will be arranged to discuss funding options for the project(s).
